Nicknames: Sam, Sammy - She prefers Samantha
Age: 17
Birthday: May 19th
Grade: Junior
Job: Make-Up counter at
Martin's
Neighborhood:
Fairburn House #2
Personality:
Samantha is very much your typical girly girl. She HATES to sweat and even
when working out for the drill team, she finds it disgusting. In the end
she sticks around because her love for dancing trumps her hate for sweat.
She’s very superficial in that she won’t hang out with someone if they don’t
take time to have a presentable appearance. It’s an issue of respect. They
obviously don’t respect people to take care of themselves and she shouldn’t
have to respect them enough to converse with the person. Around school she
pretty much doesn’t take crap from anyone. She is quick to put someone in
their place with her words but thankfully has never come to fighting. She
aces school because she copies from other people. Sure she could do it on
her own but she doesn’t understand that point in wasting her time on it. In
love…well she doesn’t ever fall in love. If she feels like she is, she
bolts. It stems from her parent’s divorce but she would never actually
admit that she’s running from love because she’s scared she’ll end up like
them.

Social Circut(Friends):
Family: Her father, Eric and mother Amber split up when she was
7. It was a very traumatic experience for Samantha and she hasn’t ever
really forgiven them, or taken the blame off herself. They would spend
nights fighting and screaming and her mother was drunk more than she was
sober. After the divorce she lived with her mom for two years but she
overdosed on a combination of sleeping pills and alcohol. She quietly feels
responsible since she should’ve been able to stop it. She was only 9 though
and she doesn’t realize that was an unrealistic expectation. After that she
moved in with her dad. He worked a 9-5 job doing computer programming.
They got along great and he always made sure he had money to pay for her
dance lessons and gymnastic practices. Unfortunately for Sam he remarried
when she was 14. Danielle was everything you wouldn’t want in a step
mother: gorgeous, sugary sweet and had kids. Samantha doesn’t get along
with her step brother Josh, who’s only 10 at all. Sure it might be because
she is rebelling against her father, but it makes for a tense experience in
their household.
Other little facts: She volunteers as a
gymnastics coach at the community center. She loves gymnastics and she
wants to give that excitement and fun to the little kids. She usually goes
on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays depending on her drill team practices.
She hates seafood and peanut butter. She has a drinking problem so she
actually avoids drinking as much as possible. The issue is that once she
starts drinking, she can’t stop until she blacks out and passes out.
