Personality: There is only one way of describing Rowland Trentham and that is hyper active. He cannot for the life of him sit still for a long period of time. In school he finds himself either drumming his fingers against the desk or tapping his feet against the floor both are disturbing to the class so he is always getting dirty looks from the classmates and severe look from the teachers. Rowland attention span is short lived. You have to be talking about something really good to hold his attention for more than ten minutes. A lot of people find this quality about him frustrating. He doesn't try to do it on purpose it's just the way he is. Music, girls, and video games are a few of his attention getters and attention holders. Not popular but Rowland loves the ladies and is always trying a new pick up line on them. Not all of them works, mind you. He's been slapped a couple of times and laughed at other times, especially by the popular girls of his class. Unfortunately, that still don't stop him from trying again. Basketball is the one and only sport that Rowland is good at.

Relationship Status: Single, Rowland's had his share of girlfriends. Most of them broke up with him because they find his love for video games and music too much for their liking. He is guilty of the charge. He's often leaving his girlfriend to talk to herself while he's engrossed in a video game or playing or listening to music. What he needs is a girl that can ease into his zone and pull him out not get mad and storm outta his house.

Best Friends: Brianna Blackburn, these two are the total opposite but some kind of way they fit. He doesn't try to change her and she doesn't try to change him. He isn't embarrassed to be seen with her in school or around town.

Rowland father is the owner of Trentham Pharmacy on the Island. His mother is a stay at home mom who watches over his maternal grandmother, Betty whom has been diagnosed with lung cancer. It's kind of hard for him to be around his grandmother with the news the doctor told them that she was in her last stages and only have a few months to live. His mother and father have accepted the news as well as his grandmother, but Rowland still finds it hard to accept it. He tries not to stare or treat his grandmother like a porcelain doll something she can not tolerate and will shoo him away from her. Other than that sad bit of news their family is your typical everyday family. They have breakfast and dinner together and he can't be late or miss either. His parents think his friend Brianna is a bit too something or another and wishes he would chose his friends wisely. Whenever he hangs out with her he's always getting into trouble and ends up grounded. Hey, he's only 16 you know.

Other little facts: He's a B/C student finding it hard to concentrate on his school work due to his hyper activeness and short attention span. Rowland collect guitars and has a lot of them hanging on his wall in his bedroom. His parents thinks it's an expensive hobby but Rowland works to help pay for these things. He also likes to collect video games and video game consoles. He feels more comfortable in T-shirts and shorts, so he spends less money on clothes and shoes. Around the island he is considered the best guitarist. When he and Brianna aren't terrorizing the town you can bet they got their heads together, working on a song or just composing music. Skittles and Starburst are his guilty pleasures.
