Personality: A devil with and angel's face. Although it's overused, that's Naomi in a nut shell. She has her moments where she is laid back and cool to hang around with, but when she gets fired up, it takes a lot to calm her back down. Not one to mince words, she will tell you exactly what she thinks, when she thinks it. Naomi does not put up with idiots or fools, and if she thinks you are full of it, she will tell you. Some people would consider Naomi a bitch simply because of the way she carries herself. At her core, she's really not a bad person, but it's buried under all this bullshit, that it rarely shines through. She does have a nasty tendency to be stubborn though. When she comes up with an idea, or a solution to a problem, almost no one can sway her to think differently. She has a very smug air about her, and is actually quite fond of her attitude. With her friends, she actually comes off a a nice person, though she really only considers the 'popular' kids in her list of friends. She has been known the try to be nice to the other kids she works with, but she'd never admit it her friends - and forget acknowledging them at school, she'd never do that.

Gabriel is a Real Estate Agent who spends a lot of time working so he can support his family. He's not exactly sure what's going on in the life of his girls since he spends so little time with them, and so obviously there isn't a close bond with them. Michaela works at the local library, and she tries her best to be a part of her children's lives - though she too works hard in case Gabriel's paycheck isn't what they might have thought it was going to be. Mara, she's turning out to be more like Naomi than Naomi would like - trying to mimic her in every way.

Other little facts:  Naomi's paychecks actually go to help her family out - and she long been resentful of this fact. She does get to keep a small percentage of her paychecks - though nothing to brag about. She would much rather be spending her money on clothing and different activities her friends might want to do - though having roof over her head is way more important. Because of the lack of money, she often suggests going to the beach because it's a free activity and bath suit doesn't cost all that much.
