Personality: Lauren is a sweet shy girl who only really feels confident being herself at home. She likes to laugh, joke and make a fool of herself, but is self conscious so if she accidentally does something at school she automatically looks around to see who saw her brief outburst. She tends to get flustered around people easily except those she knows well like her friends, family and people from her church. Lauren is a compassionate person, always happy to do things for others whether it be little or big and has a huge soft spot for her little sister Eva-Marie. She seems rather nervous to most people, but all you really need to do is let her get to know you a little better and she opens right up. Unlike other teenagers who like nothing more then do drink and party, she doesn't and much prefers smaller crowds and to hang around those with similar interests with her.

Though she doesn't remember much about her dad, the image of her mother collapsing into the arms of a police officer in tears after hearing the news of her husband's death is one that she won't forget. Lauren was six when her father was killed in a car accident while on the mainland, she grew up for a long time just her and her mother missing having a dad like her friends. Years later her mother started to date Greg a new member of the church. Just over a year later, Greg and Julia married in a ceremony at the church where they met, with Lauren as flower girl. Unexpectedly Julia soon found she was pregnant, and the family grew with the birth of Eva-Marie.

Other little facts: Gregory legally adopted Lauren at the same time he married Julia. Lauren had always been fond of Greg, and loves him as a father and seeing her mother happy. She is a complete softy when it comes to her baby sister, and she loves to spend time with her. She attends church and youth group weekly, and her faith is important to her, but she's not one too thrust it on others. She's drunk a little beer, but didn't like it, has never been drunk, never used illegal drugs, never smoked nor does she plan too.
