Personality: Frankie is a true chameleon, making herself seem what is needed for every situation. To those at the Gryphon's den she is a strong willed person who knows exactly what she wants in an article, and isn't afraid to harshly edit a piece, when inside she is questioning every decision she makes. To her friends she's a sweet person who shares all her secrets, and loves to hang out, be social and be herself, when in actuality she is hiding her true self for fear of loosing what is important to her. Like all people she wants to be loved, but her fear of loosing those around her has caused her to be overly insecure and to loose something more important – her self identity.

Frankie was the product of a holiday fling while her mother Kelly was visiting relatives in Hawaii. She only knows her fathers name, and that he doesn't know about her, and she has the same amount of interest in learning about him. Her father is Chinese American, while her mother is Hawaiian American, her multicultural heritage making up for her unique look. She was raised by her mother until she was nine and Kelly was arrested on drug charges and forced into rehabilitation. She was taken in by her Aunt Shauna on Cabrillo, and has been living with her ever since, having little to no contact with her mother except when she shows up wanting something.

Other little facts: Frankie is a good keeper of secrets including the fact that she's never met her father; that she lives with her aunt due to her mothers drug and alcohol problems, and that she is uncertain of her sexuality. She is scared of being alone so keeps these secrets to her self in an attempt to not scare or upset those around her, insuring they have no reason to leave her. Both Frankie and her Aunt are vegetarian.
