Personality: There are two sides to a coin and two sides to Blake Valentine. When first looking at Blake, you see a charmer with mesmerizing blue eyes and dirty blond hair. He has a smile that makes many girls and mothers knees weak. The guys and fathers are weary of him and watch him at all cost. He knows how to use this charm to his advantage and get what he wants. His confidence in himself falls close to arrogance. He is sarcastic, flirty, and very witty. This; however, is his public face and what carries him in his social status. The other side of the coin, the real Blake Valentine is mellower. Listening to classical music and playing the piano soothes his soul and helps him with day to day life. He knows most of the teenagers he hangs around with would joke on him if they knew he actually played the piano and was into that kind of music. He also knows this side of him is very vulnerable and thus tries at all cost to hide it. There is one thing that completes him on both sides and that is playing sports. He excels at them.

Relationship Status: Single, Blake allow females to consider he's a player because he doesn't want them to actually see the softer side of him. That side of him is very vulnerable and he doesn't trust himself enough to hand it over to just any girl. He's dated from time to time, but his relationships only lasted for at most 3 weeks.

Josephine Valentine was a fun loving mother that was very fond of her son Blake and he was very fond of her. You would think that he would be a father’s boy, but he was more of a mother’s child. Josephine died while giving birth to his baby brother Conner Valentine, leaving Blake and his father to raise Conner. Blake mourned his mother’s death and to this day feel as if part of him isn’t whole. Raising Conner was harder than he thought. Where he got all his looks from their father Conner got his looks from their mother and every time Blake would look at him, his mother face would appear and he would feel the emptiness all over again. It took some years, but he’s finally been able to put much of the sadness to rest. The house is still empty without her though, but they are managing. Conner doesn’t know his mother so Blake does the best he could with telling  his brother stories and describing just how beautiful and loving their mother really was. Sebastian on the other hand, still feels the lost of his wife and is very reclusive. He doesn’t go out like he used to and feels that seeing other women would make him lose the love he had for his wife. His father is there for him and Conner. He gives as much as he could and treats them a bit too precious. Sometimes being treated like that can rub Blake the wrong way, but he understand his father’s reasons behind it and tries to bite back his tongue.

Other little facts:  Blake is a B student, he could do better if he applied himself, but he just doesn’t. Partying  is one of his pastimes, but with a younger brother to take care of he tries to limit his drinks and doesn’t like going home drunk. A secret fact is that Blake can not hold his alcohol like most of his friends, especially any liquor. He picked up his love for playing the piano and listening to classical music from his mother.
