As is tradition in Cabrillo Bay, the annual 'End of Summer Luau' is drawing
closer by the day. It's an excuse for absolutely everyone in town to come
together, dress in their loudest tropical shirts and enjoy food, drinks and fun
by a massive bonfire down on the beach. The End of Summer Luau goes on till the
early hours of the morning with younger families retiring earlier while everyone
else tries to make it until the sun rises.

It's time to raise some money again and the girls of the Varsity & Junior
Varsity Cheerleading Squad at Sierra Hills High School are trading their pom
poms in for a sponge and soapy water. So why not show the girls and Sierra Hills
High your support, and get your car cleaned whiled you're at it!

The Cabrillo Bay Beach Volleyball Tournament is both a great way to have fun and
keep fit, all while raising money for the Sierra County Hospital Children's
ward. The competition is open to people of all ages with categories including
Under 18 Males, Females and Mixed. Why not register your two person team today!
Or just come and enjoy as a spectator!

A new school year means a lot of things for the students of Sierra Hills High
but for some, it's a time to start planning the campaign to get them elected to
student government. All positions are now open and in the first two weeks of
school returning, an election will be run and Sierra Hills High will have a new
Student Government in place. Democracy in action! |
