-- Brooke --
Nicknames: Aims (By her dad)
Age: 15
Birthday:
July 10th
Grade: Junior
Job: None
- Aimee doesn't have a 'real job' but she does make a little money on the
side tutoring Sophomore's and Freshman. She's more than capable of tutoring
those her own age or older, the question has never been asked of her though.
Neighborhood:
Abbey Shores
Townhouse #12
Personality:
School can be hard at the best of times, but when you're a year younger than
most of the people in your grade and still managing to be one of the top
students in the school, then school has the potential to be a veritable
nightmare. For Aimee Jefferies it's certainly not all that she hoped and
dreamed it would be. While some girls are practicing their cheers or
chatting with boys, Aimee either has her head stuck in a book or is using
her free time to tutor other students. Some have labeled her a nerd, though
Aimee would do absolutely anything to shake off that label. She tries to
cover the fact that she excels in school but often finds that her teachers
will make a point of congratulating her on that A+ in her latest pop quiz.
She is the perfect picture of naiveté and though she can hold an in depth
discussion on the laws of thermodynamics, she struggles to hold a
conversation about anything of a more social standard, especially when
talking to boys. Though not entirely socially awkward, she doesn't do well
when somebody will shine the spotlight on her and has the bad habit of
flushing red whenever she finds herself in an uncomfortable situation.
Activities: National Honors Society, Academic Team. (The latter
she would prefer to quit but doesn't have the heart to tell
Mr. Preston
because he has always been so nice to her.)

Family:
Father - Mathew, Mother -Leanne.
For the last ten years of her life, it's just been Aimee and her Dad, her
parents separating when she was only five. Though Mathew, a landscape
gardener by trade, chose to remain in the Bay, his ex wife Leanne chose to
relocate back to San Francisco where she was born and raised to go into
business as an Interior decorator. Though the separation was amicable, it
left Mathew heartbroken and he has dated very little since then. Aimee and
her father are very close and Mathew tries very hard to make life as normal
for her as possible but he's never really learned how to deal with the fact
that Aimee is a girl and as such, has questions about things that he doesn't
know how to answer. Aimee senses his awkwardness and though she is generally
open with him about a lot of things, anything that falls under the title of
'girlie problems' are dealt with by the school nurse. Mathew is extremely
proud of Aimee though he can be overprotective of her, the mere thought of
her dating perhaps more frightening than taking her to get her first
training bra was. He realizes she's not a little girl any more but has no
idea what goes on inside the head of a 15 year old teenager.
Other little facts:
Aimee skipped a grade in elementary school and has struggled since then to
form any close bonds with the people in her grade. Some of the more popular
girls will poke fun at her for their own amusement and though she hates it,
Aimee has never learned to stand up for herself. When it comes to school she
will finish in the top of almost every class she takes though she has always
worked hard to maintain good grades.
